Abu Dhabi - F1 race and Cipriani opening

as a sports reporter for Haute Living Magazine

The atmosphere reminded me Brigitte Bardot’s St Tropez in the 60’s – just not on this planet, somewhere magic in the space.

The futuristic buildings, the jet set, the yachts - Abu Dhabi becomes alive during the Grand Prix.

The cicuit could be seen even from the Yas Hotel or the Marina, where you can walk barefoot after a night of champagne and dancing at Allure by Cipriani. Or simply after a dinner among the restaurant's usual following of royals and celebrities, who arrived from everywhere to take part of the exciting GP2 and F1 final race and the Cipriani Yas Island Opening. 

Among those seen, not only jet setters and princes, but also Formula 1 legends, team owners, sponsors, mechanics, PR's, and obviously many car fans.

Some special days that became history: surprising and disappointing for the Ferrari fans, Sebastian Vettel won the ultimate prize in motorsport and proudly became the youngest ever Formula One World Champion.
